Manual and Policies

This manual applies to all activities and facilities involving sources of ionization radiation within the UIC campus. This includes all radiation-producing machines that are required by law to be registered with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA), Division of Nuclear and Radiation Safety and all radioactive materials that are possessed by the authority of the broad scope license granted to UIC by IEMA. The license or registration (s) may include some off-campus locations.
